Welcome to Fife Jazz Festival
The Byre Theatre is to be closed for the period of the Fife Jazz Festival.
Jazz Scotland and On At Fife as organisers of the Festival, have arranged to transfer all of the concerts to The Town Hall, St Andrews. Times and ticket prices remain the same, and we will accept tickets bought through The Byre. All seats will, however, be unreserved.
There are still tickets left for all shows, and they can be purchased by calling the main Fife Jazz Festival Box Office number at the Rothes Halls: 01592 611101.
We thank Fife Council and the team at St Andrews Town Hall for making the venue available at very short notice.
Come and join us for another weekend of high quality Jazz and Blues in venues across Fife:
This year, we are thrilled to welcome back two exceptional groups from Sweden: The Norrbotten Big Band and The Arctic Youth Jazz Orchestra. The brilliant young New York pianist/singer, Champian Fulton, makes her Scottish debut. Carla Cook is another outstanding singer for you to discover.
Muddy Waters' son, Mud Morganfield, headlines an enhanced blues programme that also features the brilliant young Finnish star, Erja Lyytinen, and Scotland's own power group, The Nimmo Brothers.
There are some high quality boogie, bluesy and swing sessions, notably the return of Red Stripe, always a Festival favourite.
We welcome a host of international jazz stars including Dan Block, Eric Alexander, Tim Kliphuis, Brian Kellock, and David Blenkhorn; and a fresh batch of the best of swinging jazz from our own shores.
